Carlisle BBQ 2008
With Russ Owens being absent to bestow his traditional Barbeque cuisine upon the group, we made the best of the situation on Friday night. Charlie Trudel and Paul Houck volunteered to make the food and libation run. At the skillful hands of our chef, Paul Battaglia, we feasted on "brats and burgers". Ed Kepner supplied a multitude of cheeses for our appetizers, Bruce Miller brought in some Sauerkraut for the Brats and Dave Horne was able to drum up dessert as cookies and a cake seemed to appear out of nowhere.
Conversation was as plentiful as the food, and everyone seemed to have a great time. We shared the grilling area with the nice group from the Mustang club. It was a great chance for those of us new to the event to get a chance to get to know the people associated with the names we see on the 7-Litre Yahoo Group.

"Why did I sell my 7-Litre?
Now no one will talk to me." |

The Kepners
|

"Hey Paul! Is that food ready yet?"
|

"So then Jimmy rebuilt the engine and then..."
|

"147....148.....149......"
|

"So how many Convertibles do we have in the Registry now?"
|

"The rest of you only have 428's?
Well that's good too, I guess."
